Very original, solid and rare 'lemoncella' colourway
The Appeal
The agile Alfa 105 and 115 Coupes are a perennial favourite of classic enthusiasts, but you rarely see one like this. No Alfa Red paintwork, no Quadrifoglios on the wings, not even any aftermarket GTA alloys. Instead, it’s finished in its factory-correct Limoncella, sits on steels and has its original, unrestored interior.
Yet this one-lady-keeper car hides a secret. It left the factory as a GT Junior 1300 and wears that badging. But beneath the bonnet is Alfa’s torquier and sweet-revving 1750cc version of the twin cam.
The car is a pleasing blend of refreshed and original. The paintwork has been renewed, carefully replicating the beautiful original colour, a stainless steel exhaust is fitted and that engine as been rebuilt at a cost of £4,000. But the steels, chromework, body fittings and interior are all original.
Opportunities to acquire one-keeper 105 Coupes with sympathetic restorations don’t come along often. This car has the provenance and character to appeal to true Alfisti.
The vendor says:
Finding examples of the Alfa 105 that look like this and that are as original as this , is very very difficult. This car wants for nothing. Totally original, very low mileage, never molested example.
“Mother and son ownership. 60k recorded miles. It's a time warp beauty in its very unusual ' lemoncella ' light yellow over black upholstery. All chrome work in perfect condition. Motor runs brilliantly. Tyres are new. This car is ready for the road and many years of problem-free enjoyment.”image.png1.96 MBHistory and Paperwork
