The Appeal

Unless you were in the Soviet Army circa 1972, here's something you most likely won't have seen before. The GAZ 69M is a rugged Soviet-era utility vehicle produced for both military and civilian use from the mid-1950s. Rarely encountered on British roads, these characterful machines enjoy a devoted following among enthusiasts of Cold War-era vehicles and military machinery. Finding one that has been comprehensively restored to this standard is rarer still.
This example was sourced in Poland and subjected to a ground-up restoration by a specialist. The vendor states the vehicle is in very good condition both mechanically and cosmetically, and that it runs and drives well. Now imported and registered on UK plates, this GAZ 69M presents an opportunity to acquire a well-sorted example of an increasingly collectable piece of Soviet automotive history.
