The Kawasaki Z1R, launched in 1978 as the 'Silver Bullet', had a simple brief. It was Kawasaki's answer to the industry's pursuit of total performance - a cafe racer with unique looks fitting of its 1,015cc engine. This powerful piece of hardware transformed the already impressive King Kawasaki into a powerhouse. Sadly, sales were poor, and production was rather short. That means a rare, fully evolved bike for the connoisseur.
