Courageous, innovative and elegant like very few other cars, from 1976 onwards the Gamma marked Lancia's return to the production of exclusive cars, aiming to conquer the difficult mid-range saloon and coupé sector. The Gamma offered a high-quality interior and sophisticated mechanics, with a new aluminium alloy boxer engine, independent suspension and four disc brakes. The extraordinarily modern and original design was the work of Pininfarina: the coupé version in particular is recognised by enthusiasts as one of the most elegant Italian two-doors ever.
This splendid Gamma Coupé first series was always kept with great care, as evidenced by its very well-preserved bodywork in a rare metallic dark black shade and its interior with two-tone upholstery in excellent condition.
The seller has informed us that, thanks also to the very low mileage, the mechanics are in equally good condition and require no intervention. This Gamma will be delivered to its next owner with a newly renewed overhaul, ready to go.
Well-equipped, with alloy wheels, air-conditioning and hydraulic power steering, this Gamma seems the ideal car for both experienced collectors and those who want to approach the world of classic cars with a car of great charm and quite rare, with only 1,978 2-litre Series 1s produced, which have always been much loved and at the centre of a lively community of enthusiasts.image.png3.77 MB
