The Attractions

The Toyota LandCruiser was born as a Japanese answer to the unstoppable Land Rover. Thanks to its slightly less Spartan approach and legendary reliability, it soon spread all over the world. Its robustness and solidity meant that many early series examples are still used today to tackle rugged trails in the harshest conditions.

Few Land Cruisers, however, are in as good a condition as this example. It is a rare seven-seater long-wheelbase Trooper version equipped with the elastic 3.6L 6-cylinder diesel engine and looks pleasingly faithful to its original factory specifications. Stored until recently in a collection of classic Toyotas, it is in truly remarkable condition, having recently undergone a complete restoration that not only involved bodywork and paintwork, but also included the complete replacement of the interior trim and a thorough mechanical overhaul.

The seller told us that this car has only had two owners, has low mileage and has always been garaged. With an MOT valid until May 2027, this Land Cruiser is a truly remarkable and well-preserved example of this classic and iconic off-roader.

The black carpet lining the passenger compartment and rear cargo area looks good and the soundproofing material was recently replaced
