The Appeal
Manufactured for fifteen years in no fewer than eight different countries, the Peugeot 504 enjoyed a worldwide appeal, as one of the most practical and rugged cars money could buy. That also meant it was well-suited to commercial applications, hence the creation of a pick up truck variant. Most of these vehicles were quite literally worked into the ground, so it's quite unsusual to find a well-preserved example like this one from 1986.
This 504 has undergone a sympathetic restoration, ensuring that its original character is preserved while enhancing its reliability and performance. Its 2.3-litre diesel engine has been completely reconditioned using original parts and a gearbox overhaul has also been carried out, while the original paint and age-commensurate patina remains.
