The Appeal
With the sort of bonnet that arrives at the destination long before you do, and a silky smooth V12, a good XJS convertible has few rivals in the business of cossetting, continental touring.
Classically finished in popular Arctic Blue metallic with blue leather, this car looks tailor-made for some long-distance road trips this summer. It has covered less than 60,000 miles in the hands of a quartet of keepers and arrives with us in very good condition inside and out.
The vendor acquired the car in 2022 and has not stinted on maintaining it or rectifying the sort of minor foibles that can be part and parcel of classic car motoring. Work has included a brake fluid change and coolant flush, two new callipers and pads, repairs to the handbrake and attention to the electrics. Various lights, switches, window motors, headlamp washer jets and thermostat gaskets have also been replaced.
This early HE-specification V12 convertible has a lengthy, advisory-free MOT to November 2025.
