The Appeal
Ask Google Gemini to show you a picture of durability and almost certainly it’ll present you with an image of this vehicle, Toyota’s Hilux. It’s virtually indestructible, as Top Gear set out to prove, memorably, some years ago.
Despite that reputation for formidable endurance, it is still surprising to find a Hilux as good as this one. These vehicles are generally used hard, and yet this well-preserved 1994 fifth-generation pickup looks like it rolled out of the Aichi works only a few years ago. Painted white with factory decals and a dark grey fabric cabin, it is in quite remarkable condition.
The vendor is onlythe fifth keeper. He acquired it in 2018 and tells us that it has been regularly serviced. Further reassurance is provided by the MOT, which runs to February 2027 with no advisories. If you’re seeking a dependable and characterful Hilux from the era many consider the model's golden age, this is one well worth a closer look.
The vendor says:
“Its a very good piece of equipment! Strong!”
