The Appeal
The Range Rover Classic LSE 25th Anniversary Edition marked the final chapter of one of the most iconic vehicles in automotive history. Limited to only 200 units, all originally left-hand drive on the North American market, the 25th anniversary edition bridges the revered Classic lineage and its successor the P38. After these 200 cars, Land Rover produced only 25 more right-hand drive units before ceasing Classic production entirely, making it one of the last Range Rover Classics left-hand drive to leave the factory.
This 1995 example underwent extensive restoration in 2020, during which the vehicle was completely dismantled. The shell, the chassis and the body were treated with anti-corrosion protection and epoxy before repainting. Damaged components, including the rear crossmember and the tailgate, were replaced, and the interior was fully redone. Mechanically, the 4.2-litre V8 was rebuilt, the automatic transmission and transfer box were replaced with exchange units, both axles were rebuilt, the braking system was refurbished, and the main wiring loom and engine loom were replaced. Since this work, the car has covered only 9,700 kilometres.
The seller describes the result as well above the quality standards of other examples from the same generation, reborn while retaining all original characteristics, and regards the driving experience as being worthy of a grand tourer. For collectors and enthusiasts seeking one of the rarest and most significant Range Rover Classics, this is a compelling opportunity.
