Highlights
- Highly original example in "like new" condition
- Rarely used throughout its life
- Just 1,538 miles
The Appeal
Taking its name from Utah’s famous Salt Flats, where riders attempted to break motorcycle speed records, the Triumph Bonneville is a design classic. Its shape instantly evoking café racer culture of the '50s and '60s.
This 2002 example, with only three previous registered keepers, two of whom did not make use of the bike, and the third who has used it sparingly, treating and storing it with care, still looks as though it has just rolled off the production line.
The vendor says:
"It has always been in the dry and is truly as it left the factory, with the marks put on the main nuts and bolts during its final check still present and not washed off. I fitted a high-quality Sport screen for comfort. It has only done 1500 miles, mostly taking it for MOTs and running the engine."
