The Ferrari 488 GTB marked a watershed moment for Maranello's mid-engined berlinetta lineage: the first to adopt twin-turbocharging, yet one that lost none of the visceral drama expected of the legendary marque. With 670hp available on tap from its 3.9-litre V8, a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and a driver-focused chassis to rival the best of the best, the 488 GTB earned near-universal acclaim from the motoring press and has since cemented its place as an essential of Ferrari's 21st-century product range.

It's a car of monumental character yet intense balance, and thanks to that Twin-Turbo, may be the most revolutionary Maranello product of the decade, but as the ever-complicated train of hybridisation and digitisation continues chugging along, these now feel gleefully traditional for the lucky motorist behind the wheel.

This 2017 example comes to us in an elegant combination of Nera bodywork over a Sabbia interior - an imposing colour combination if ever there was one, and quite distinct from the more commonly seen reds and yellows. With a remarkably light 13,515 kilometres on the clock, it's ready and raring to go, accompanied by a vehicle safety inspection valid to June 2027.

Imposing and slicked back, the 488GTB is already a very impressive looker - but this one's Nera paintwork creates something particularly special. Dark, intimidating, and bound to turn heads, it's arguably ten times more striking when compared to the more commonly-seen bright palettes that are so synonymous with Maranello.

Inside, the sumptuous, sporty cabin is in good order and looks fiercely determined, with all instruments and screens reportedly in good working order and the upholstery ready and waiting to take its new driver.
