Very rarely do you come across a classic that has the perfect balance of condition. This Alfa Spider is just such a car, finely honed and perfectly patinated, only achievable by careful and gentle use from new in a kind climate. The original interior is virtually as new with that wonderful smell of originality, all the controls retain a factory fresh precise action, indeed all aspects of the car point to how most cars are after just a handful of years from being produced.
Supplied when new to the home market it comes as no surprise to learn that the Alfa spent many of the last years in the hands of an elderly Italian enthusiast who used the Alfa for his annual outing to follow the Mille Miglia. The Alfa retains its original Italian Registration Documentation recording owners back into the 1960’s, in addition the A. S. I. passport is on file.
Penned by Touring this Alfa has all the beauty and style synonymous with great Italian car design and this is a particularly fine example. A wonderful summer stead and a perfect antidote to the grim pandemic times we are hopefully finding our way out of.
