The Appeal 

The ‘Cammy Norton’ nickname may underplay the International’s achievements but it neatly conveys the love riders have for these long-lived bikes. Customers could ape the TT performance of Guthrie, Simpson and Woods with a range of competition upgrades available from the factory. 
Two models were available, of which the 30 was the more powerful 498cc version. From 1950 riders got the lighter, all-aluminium version of this venerable SOC motor. 
Chassis records indicate that this is an early 1950 Model 30 with the revised engine. It is in resplendent condition, its beautiful black and silver paintwork accented by neat red pinstriping. For the last few years it has been sparingly used as part of an extensive collection, released between 2002 and 2004 for VMCC events. 
This lovely Inter is ready to be simply looked at and admired or enjoyed. Whichever you choose, it looks very rewarding. 

The History and Paperwork

  • The 11 prefix shows this is a factory Model 30 with the larger 498cc engine
