The Appeal
If you want the best and you want a XJ-S, then you want this car. With under 12,000 documented miles from new, amassed by just two keepers, it is in the sort of condition that will appeal to concours judges.
Finished in smart dark blue metallic with very rare red leather interior, this 1991 XJ-S V12 convertible looks like it rolled out of the showroom yesterday. Only the very slightest wear to the driver’s bolster betrays any sense, and it is merely a sense, that this is a 34 year old car.
The condition is in part down to this car's life in the cossetted environs of Japan until 2016. Famously fastidious about maintenance, the nation also doesn't salt its roads, which is a boon for classics like this one.
Quite how the subsequent duo of UK keepers restrained themselves from enjoying one of Jaguar’s finest cars we’ll maybe never know. But lets be glad they have, because it gifts the buyer a truly superb example of these well-regarded GT tourers.

The car comes to market with current, advisory-free MOT and full records of the servicing and maintenance history. This feels like a scarce opportunity for Jaguar collectors.
