Aside from its go-kart handling and sheer usability, the joy of Mini ownership is that plentiful, inexpensive parts supply means you can always make your car your own.
That is pretty much the story of this smart, low mileage example. It is a Mini 1000 City E which was written off, then re-bodied using a shell from J669 LJL. The body shell was fully restored and sprayed before fitting all of the components from the written off car, J180 KLX. It is a 1000cc engine with single carburettor
An excellent run of MOTs back to 1994 attest to the low mileage mechanicals, which the well kept interior supports. The MOT runs to the end of March 2024 with no advisories.
