The Appeal
With interest in the original 986 Boxster rising, here is the kind of car you hope to find. It is the later, more powerful 220bhp 2.7L model with manual box and just 16,000 documented miles from new. This car is about as close to a new 986 as you’re likely to get.
Classically finished in Guards Red with black roof and leather, it is in the sort of condition you might expect of a barely-used car. It remains usefully factory-standard, right down to the Porsche sound system, and even has its 16in five spoke alloys.
The car has been in the same family for much of its life. It comes to market with a recent service plus a long list of work.That includes two new radiators, new Firestone tyres, a battery and a fuel pump. The MOT runs to the end of March 2026 with no advisories.
