NKS 416R – 1977 Land Rover Series 3 – 2. 5 Diesel – Nut and bolt restoration
This particular Land Rover was previously sold by us here at Land Rover Centre in 2010. At that time it had just emerged from a total ground up, nut and bolt restoration as can be seen in some of the pictures.
Since then, it has languished mainly been languishing in an extensive private car collection in a heated facility and has covered a mere 822 miles since restoration.
Being a “921” chassis number it began life as a genuine Land Rover 7 seater station wagon petrol.
During the restoration, it was converted to a 2. 5 diesel – using a fully reconditioned unit from an early “Defender”.
The restoration included but was not limited to the following:
New galvanised chassis – painted black for originality
