Superformance GT40P/ 2432 available for sale.
Offered on behalf of the owner by Le Mans Coupes
For those who don’t just admire motorsport history but live it, who hear the echo of Le Mans through the decades and crave the raw, unfiltered thrill of 1960s racing, this is the car for you.
GT40P/ 2432 is a breathtaking Superformance GT40 finished in deep Gulf blue, a colour scheme etched forever into endurance racing folklore. This isn’t just a nod to the past. It’s a rolling, roaring tribute to an era when bravery was measured in laps and victory was chased at 200mph down the Mulsanne Straight.
At its heart is a 427 cubic inch V8 built by Prestige Motorsport, topped with a Borla 8-stack induction system, which powers you forward with purpose and a soundtrack that is hard to beat. Every stab of the throttle hurls you into a world once inhabited by legends like Ken Miles, Bruce McLaren, and Jacky Ickx. This is a GT40 in its own right, a continuation of the legend that beat the giants of the day.
Inside, the cockpit is trimmed in Alcantara with Willans 4-point harnesses keeping you firmly in place. Air conditioning offers welcome comfort, while details like sill and footwell carpets, period pull-cord door releases and a recessed number plate give the cabin just the right balance of purpose and nostalgia.
Wilwood GT40-branded four-pot brakes provide immense stopping power, paired with Bilstein dampers and H&R springs to deliver a poised, planted feel at speed. Avon CR66ZZ tyres wrap around stunning orange BRM 15-inch wheels with centre-lock spinners, adding a final flourish to the stance. And then there’s the sound — that unmistakable roar from the bundle-of-snakes exhaust that ensures everyone knows something special has just gone by.
Everything about this car has been carefully considered. It’s not just built to look the part. It’s built to deliver the experience.
GT40P/ 2432 is a rare opportunity for those who understand what this car represents — a chance to not just own a piece of history, but to drive it. To feel it. To become part of it.
