Restored by well known specialists, Cox & Buckles, in 1999 using a new Heritage bodyshell, the car has remained in excellent condition with great panel fit and smooth glossy paint. All of the mechanical components were reconditioned at the time of the restoration including a performance Oselli Engineering engine which has subsequently tuned by Airey to an indicated 110 BHP at the wheels, impressive for an MGB.
In more recent times, the car has undergone a full suspension overhaul by Bill Rawles Classic Cars which totalled c£7k and as a result the car drives beautifully.
The car is fitted with a quality Mohair hood, has a windstop fitted as well as a modern radio.
It would be impossible to replicate a car of this quality for the asking price and as such offers excellent value for money.
