Here we have a wonderful example of a Genuine RHD, UK supplied early bay window camper !
Not only is this camper van UK supplied and corrosion free but it is also an original licensed “Dormobile” conversion.
Moving onto the vehicle itself… This camper have had a “no expense spared” restoration previously which included the replacement floor pans rear lower quarter panels, front floors steps and wheel arches. All this work was completed professionally along with a full rebuilt of the twinport engine to a bigger capacity of 1641cc along with a gearbox and suspension build too. The suspension has been lowered lightly to give a better look aesthetically but not to much to ruin the ride! and the front brakes were ungraded to disc and pads instead of the convensional drum brakes. There is a CD provided with the vehicle showing 100’s of photos during the course of this restoration being carried out.
The interior is fully customised to sit in line with the coachwork too with T25 front swivel seats and a rock and roll bed both re-covered in custom vinyl. There are also two fold away hammocks in the roof space allowing the van to have sleeping space for 4 currently with further scope for a front hammock too. The roof operates perfectly with the roofing cloth being in excellent condition.
There is a fold away table provided along with custom LED lighting throughout which runs of a separate leisure battery. There are however currently no cooking facilities or a fridge – These can be added separately if required
