Absolutely fantastic 2012 BMW M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology) Lightweight Sedan with only 14, 244 kilometers on the odometer. A special edition of the M3 sedan that was produced for one model year only and in only one color, Frozen Polar Silver Metallic, and red interior. The production was limited to 67 cars, all numbered with a plaque on the dashboard and all with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (M-DCT). This car is number 38 of the 67 ever produced.
The CRT is powered by the same 4. 4-liter version of the S65 engine as found in the M3 GTS, however, it retains a higher level of luxury features compared to the track-focused GTS. The CRT used a carbon fiber hood and front seats to reduce weight, resulting in a curb weight approximately 100 kg lower than an equivalently specified version of the regular M3 sedan. The official 0–100 km/ h (0–62 mph) acceleration time was 4. 4 seconds. In comparison, the regular M3 used a 4. 0-liter engine and had an official 0-100 km/ h acceleration time of 4. 8 seconds with the manual transmission.
