G-Wagon - the very name itself is rugged, robust and no-nonsense. And, while this 1987 SWB model embodies all of those things, there is something very sophisticated and stylish about it, too.
Having undergone a major recent restoration, this W460 230GE is in immaculate condition and in excellent mechanical order.
The extensive bodywork carried out includes new sills, floor, window surrounds, doors, plus lots more, all expertly fitted and finished with a beautiful paint job in the original white colour.
Inside, the front seats were re-trimmed in their smart chequered fabric, the dashboard was removed to fit a new interior fan, and there were a huge amount of new mechanical parts fitted to the car, also, including all new suspension parts, new fuel pump and lines, new brakes and pipes, new cold start regulator, plus a full engine service, too.

This G-Wagon doesn’t just look great, but it drives very well, too. The 2. 3 4-cylinder petrol engine and the automatic gearbox are smooth and quiet, and the car rides surprising well on its new BF Goodrich tyres.
This is a stunning and very desirable rust-free G-Wagon that has had all of the hard work already done. A better example would be hard to find.
