Offered for sale, a superbly restored Motocross Special Greeves Motorcycle.
Sold new to the USA where it was marketed as a 24MCS Mk2, the same model was advertised in the UK as a 24MDS. Although the precise history is unknown of this example, it has been passed on from previous owners that it was brought back in relatively recent years after spending its life in California as a desert racer. It is known to have a 246cc Villiers two-stroke engine which has just been subject to an overhaul, and which runs very nicely. It is not registered for road use but is ready to go for off-roading and is a stunning example which makes itself heard! It is the 1962 model and has been restored in recent years. Everything works as you would expect, and it is a joy to ride.
