On the retirement of the Dealership the MG was sold to its first private custodian Mr Cowell of Helston, Cornwall, Registered on the 22nd May 1998 and issued with the cherished registration number R1 MGR, In March 2015 the RV8 was sold with just 657 miles on the clock to its 2nd custodian Mr Horne of Gillingham, Dorset, Complete with original owners book pack/ manuals including Original sales & Accessories brochure, Heritage Trust Certificate, Spare keys, Factory toolkit etc, Original dealer registration plates, Original dealer tax disc holder, R1 MGR has now covered an incredible 928 miles from new !
