A Gelscoe Motorsport recreation circa 2016. Chassis no GEL 010. Bought new in 2016 by the 1st owner who ordered it and never used. Sold to current owner in 2017 with Historic Automobiles looking after the car from 2017-2019. The car was extensively prepared for the Spa 6 hours events with no expenses spared. Wheels, suspension, breaks, fuel tanks and other 6-hour specific enhancements were made. The car participated in the 6-hour events of 2018 and 2019, running top 5 through out on both events. Finished lower in the ranks due to ineffective fuel stops. Ran again at Dijon CER in 2019 where it ran faultlessly. 2020 the engine was entirely re-built at Steve warrior using a new and advanced re-enforced block. Gearbox and transmission were also rebuilt during this period. The car was tested at Spa in 2020 ahead of the meeting and lapped at 2, 40”. With the 2020 pandemic the car never entered the 6-hour race that year, nor since. Ran again at Dijon CER in 2020, twice at Silverstone in 2020 and 2021 and Donington in 2021. The engine has done 10hrs since rebuild. Eligible for the Amon Cup and Goodwood Revival. The car has had no accidents nor failed to finish a race. Current HTP’s until 2027.
