Last of the classic FX4 London taxis which completed its service with the original owner. Then it was sold to an enthusiast briefly before we purchased it on behalf of a museum where it has been for the past 9 years. Both the paintwork and is interior is very smart indeed and the engine compartment is tidy and genuine for an ex-working vehicle. The vehicle drives very well indeed and is supplied newly MOT’d. The paperwork in its Ascot Cab Company folder includes past Hackney certificate of approval, emission fitness declaration and motor cab licence. Built by Carbodies, and with automatic transmission with power steering, these have become surprisingly rare items. Finished as traditional in Black with Grey and Red piped velour trim.
