An exceptional W211 E500 saloon with just 36k miles from new.
Finished in the tasteful combination of Tanzanite Blue with black leather. Usual high specification including full air suspension, bi-xenon headlights, memory/ heated seats, half-wood steering wheel, climate, rear blind and parking sensors front and rear. Apple car play in aftermarket Pioneer head unit.
Supplied new in Japan and imported to the UK in 2018. Since arriving in the UK it has been looked after by Mercedes of Oxford (with receipts).
I have just driven this car down to Bordeaux and back and it was an absolute pleasure. Fast, thanks to the 5-litre V8, extremely comfortable, thanks to the air suspension, and refined, with potent air conditioning.
The car has just been checked over in our workshop and had four new Uniroyal tyres.
Original paint, no previous repairs or damage. Immaculate interior and of course the underside, having been in the kind climate of Japan, is in exceptional condition with no corrosion.
These are rare cars and, this one in particular is delightfully understated. There are no AMG badges, no scoops, no huge wheels or chrome exhaust tips. Only the E500 badge gives the game away. You don’t seem to be able to buy large-engined, discreet saloons liken this any more, which is a shame, because they are a delight to drive.
Euro 4 (petrol) emissions so can be registered as ULEZ compliant. 2 keys.
MoT until December 2024 with no advisories.
In summary, this is a low mileage, very original E500 in beautiful condition throughout.
