A superb and rare Riley 9hp Lincock (Special Series)
This car was purchased in 1993 by Noel and Lyn Wyatt having the original registration number AWL 28. Ashridge Automobiles is hopeful this number will be allocated and will be applied for.
The car was completely stripped by Noel and a major restoration was undertaken in 2003/ 4 including rebuilding an Env 75 gearbox with a closer ratio gearbox
The engine had a complete overhaul at this time including fitting new omega pistons, rebuilt twin SUs and a modern core discreetly fitted to the radiator.
The interior has been completely restored and the seats have been refitted with folding seats to allow easier access to the rear. A few allowances have been made to make driving on modern roads easier such as fitting indicators and a 12v socket for modern electronics.
A lovely little car finished in a fetching colour scheme of green and black with green leather upholstery. A car for the driver, enjoyed with the benefit of a roof!
