These cars need little introduction. There were 500 "City Pack " cars imported to the UK in period with the added benefit of Power Steering. It is believed less than half that number remain in drivable condition. Hopefully this may change as values rise and the high restoration costs can be justified!
The BMW CSL's campaigned against the now cult Porsche 2. 7 RS Carrera back in the day, the Csl being a lot less in numbers and cash! This may explain why of late the BMW CSL have been in the spotlight as enthusiasts and collectors alike join the party.
There is no getting away from the fact that this was arguably BMW's finest hour from a design perspective and also on the track.
The car offered today was first registered here in the UK on the 19th June 1973, presented in Fjord Blue from the off and retaining the all important alloy Boot, bonnet and door panels along with the original vin plate.
Restored in the recent past and sporting the original "Scheel Seats " this car is ready to go showing low mileage of only 89000. Supplied with a history file to include substantial MOT history.
