The Appeal

The British classic Triumph TR6 sports car is celebrated for its robust 2.5-litre inline-six fuel-injected engine and distinctive, aggressive styling. Built by Triumph from 1968 to 1976, the TR6 features a traditional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, with independent rear suspension and a four-speed manual gearbox, often with optional overdrive. The 1973 model year is particularly desirable, as it retains the early design cues but benefits from ongoing refinements. With its responsive handling, throaty exhaust note, and open-top driving experience, the TR6 remains a favourite among British classic car enthusiasts.

The vendor purchased this British classic five years ago, having already had a restoration carried out by the previous owner, who was a specialist mechanic in Triumphs. The car has undergone several upgrades, including electronic ignition, new fuel injectors, an unleaded cylinder head conversion, and an upgraded suspension, making this British classic a great deal of fun to drive and very usable.
