The Appeal
The Super Minx was a slice of America brought to Coventry. With its cowled headlights, reverse-rack C post and wraparound rear screen, these were Rootes’ stylish response to Ford, Morris and Vauxhall.
They are very rare finds today, which makes this one a tempting alternative to a Moggy Minor or Mk1 Cortina. It is pretty too, finished in green with white roof, a theme that continues inside. It appears to have been comprehensively restored and retrimmed in the past, and remains in very good condition today.
That is confirmed by a useful voluntary MOT, which runs to June 2026 with no advisories. This car would be a great starter classic, addition to a wedding fleet or just a practical saloon to enjoy with family and friends.
