The plus
Among the many restomods available, replicas of the legendary Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA are among the most popular. And for good reason: these lighter, faster and perhaps even prettier Giulias were some of the most beautiful and powerful produced by the Milanese workshop.
The key to a good GTA replica is to get the details right. As is the case here with this low mileage early '66 Giulia GT 1600 'Scalino' (Step Front). Finished in GTA-faithful Rosso 501 red after a three-year restoration completed in 2017, this is a superb example with a host of attractive cosmetic and mechanical details that set it apart in the market.
The specification includes an Alfaholics Road B kit, a roll bar and adjustable Koni dampers. The interior has also been upgraded in black leather, inspired by those evocative GTAs. The car is reported to be in very good mechanical and running order with recent work on the clutch, wiring and gearbox mounts. We understand that there are no immediate issues for the buyer to address. This is underlined by a current MOT certificate valid until March 2026.
