The Appeal
The Citroen H van may have started out as a budget friendly utility vehicle in 1947, but by the end of its almost 35 year production run it had become a French icon in its own right. The distinctive styling, corrugated panelling and a wealth of parts from other Citroen models of the time all add up to make a unique looking van that’s about as packed full of retro cool as you can get.
Finished in blue with white wheels this HY looks fantastic from every angle. Converted to a high standard it offers a basic but comfortable classic camper experience. With a fold out double bed, twin sinks, a leisure battery, mains hookup and a solar panel on the roof it’s ready to jump in and enjoy.

- Bumpers appear to be in good condition but would benefit from a re-paint to bring the up to the standard of the rest of the van

The Mechanics

Summary
This gorgeous blue Citroen HY is a fantastic classic camper conversion that always puts a smile on the faces of those that it passes. It offers a relaxed continental approach to driving, whilst providing a very practical and usable camper van. The interior is basic, but provides the essentials and provides them well. Finished in grey inside it feels cosy, yet surprisingly spacious for a van of this size.
