The Appeal
You know a car is good when it's lovingly labelled a 'Mini E-Type' by the popular press, and the GT6 was undeniably worthy of the accolade. Silky smooth thanks to that sweet-sounding 6-cylinder under the bonnet, with beautiful fastback looks and a superb support network, these cars have become sweethearts of enthusiasts who have become a little tired of the likes of the MGB and want something just that little bit more punchy.
The MK3 is easily the car to get. The suspension is improved, the styling hits a perfect sweet spot, and it's altogether just a fabulous, fast little car, that's still got a very accessible supply of parts, and thanks to the separate chassis and simple mechanicals, it's a relatively easy car to 'DIY'.

This 1973 example has received considerable mechanical attention in recent years, ensuring it's ready to be enjoyed on the road. Originally finished in Mimosa Yellow but now presented in black, it's a deeply handsome example that's ready and waiting for its new owner.
