The Appeal
The original Zed One didn’t just outclass every other contemporary superbike, it looked better than them too. Widely regarded as one of the greatest enthusiast bikes ever made, a Z1 is likely to find its way into any discerning collector’s garage.
The later Z1B, introduced in 1975, got more power, improved handling and updated looks. This early example arrived from America in 2020 and has been extensively restored by the previous and current seller. Now finished in blue metallic with black, gold and white details, it is a magnificent example whose extensive chromework shines brightly in the sun of our photos.
The vendor reports that it runs well too, meaning that the buyer has the choice of merely admiring it or getting out and experiencing the Zed One magnetism.
