The Appeal

Here is one of the nicest BGTs we’ve seen in a long while. Thanks to sparing use and the quality of the original work, you’ll be hard-pressed to tell that the restoration was conducted 30 years ago. The work was undertaken by well-regarded specialist Moorland Classics and included a full bare metal strip down, respray and rebuild. The engine was reconditioned, carburettors and distributor rebuilt and the painted wire wheels refurbished.

In the intervening years the car has covered very few miles. It has clearly been looked after because the Teal Blue paintwork looks fresh, the bodywork is in good order, and the black fabric interior nicely preserved. The impression provided by the photos is supported by independent inspection in the form of a lengthy, advisory-free voluntary MOT.

Well kept, factory standard and perhaps even in show-winning condition, here is a chance to capitalise on the care of previous keepers.
