The legendary Mercedes-Benz R107 perfectly fused power, comfort and drivability into an incredibly elegant car - one that came to act as an ambassador for the Mercedes-Benz phenomenon. During this period, it's undeniable that they were one of the best car manufacturers in the world - built like houses and beautifully designed.
This 1977 car is a right-hand drive import that was built in East London for the South African market. It's been meticulously maintained since its purchase from Britannia Cars in 2013, with a full service history available throughout the owner's stewardship - during which the car has been pampered with dry, climate-controlled storage.
We understand it's in fine fettle, from the sills to the bulkhead, and that the desirable 4,520cc M117 V8 powerplant is still rumbling as ever it has.
