The Appeal

This delightful 2CV6 Special is bursting with character and style, it has been thoroughly restored and has retained a lovely original feel. This car absolutely lends itself to summer cruises out with its folding convertible soft top and sky-blue paint. Certainly a very nice example that is hard to fault.

The History and Paperwork

V5 present.
Lots of documentation.
This lovely 2CV has been treated to a full restoration in 2006-2007.
Service book which has lots of stamps.
MOT is present along with lots of previous MOT certificates.
Lots of invoices for various work carried out.
A very nice complete history package with this car including the details of the restoration.

The Interior

Tons of character
This lovely car underwent a full restoration a number of years ago to a high standard,
and as such is in overall very nice condition.
The car was fully stripped, and the interior has had new seat foams and covers in a delightful very light plaid pattern.
New soundproofing and carpets were fitted throughout.
The glass is all clean and clear, and interior parts work as they should.
Some wear and tear since the restoration, and there are some small blemishes
around the interior but nothing major that requires immediate attention.
Overall a very nice, simple, stylish interior that has been nicely restored and
everything is in complete working order.
A clean and well kept example.

The Exterior

Lovely restoration and sky-blue respray.
All bumpers were renewed.
All panels were stripped from the car and work was carried out to weld and repair all
4 doors and several other panels.
Clearly well loved and well cared-for.
The brightwork is all in lovely condition, clean and well polished.
A couple of small blemishes and areas where corrosion is just starting to blister the
paint that could do with a little TLC.
The lights are all clean and clear and look great.
The white steel wheels are in good condition overall, with some small blemishes.
Chrome hub caps really look the part and the tyres new Michelin tyres fitted in 2020
he lovely large soft convertible top works excellently and is a real treat on those hot summer days.
Overall, a very nice example with a thorough restoration that will ensure the cars longevity for years to come.

The Mechanics

Mechanically sound.
Clearly well serviced and looked-after throughout its life with a complete service history.
Mechanical overhaul was done during the restoration.
The brakes have been restored, and all levels were checked.
Everything under the bonnet is neat and tidy, and everything works as it should.
A very nice clean example.

A well restored, lovely little 2CV6 Special. Classic looks and excellent styling that are sure to provide many years of pleasure to its new keeper.
