The Appeal
The R107 was intended for California, and found a very eager customer base ready and waiting for it. But that doesn't mean the Americans got all the fun - these roadsters were popular worldwide, and intensely so. Those angles and the impressive bulk perfectly fit the zeitgeist of the era, while the powerful engines and rugged build quality offered plenty for the motorist to get his teeth into.
A good, low mileage example has become the definition of an all-time classic. Enthusiasts are all united that this is one of those cars you have to drive once, and it's for exceptional reason. There's a very real feeling of power and capability under all of that metal, and it's all reassuringly tactile.
This fabulous 1984 example boasts a desirable colour scheme, heaps of originality and a comprehensive service history. The vendor has really dedicated themselves to keeping this car at its best, and it really does show from soft top to tyres.
