The Appeal
The BMW 6-series was created in 1979 with a fairly simple remit. Build a coupe around the 5-series, add a 7-series engine, then get Karmann to build it - and pack it with, for the time, top-notch interior comfort. While the larger engined cars took a lot of the spotlight, the 2.8L I6 is no slouch, and these shark-nosed classics continue to impress to this day.
This example, with black paintwork and a plush beige interior, carries the desirable Sports Pack with plenty of optional extras. It's been very nicely cared for, with a plentiful service history and a valid, advisory-free MOT until June 2024.
