The Appeal

The Eight was the easiest way into Bentley ownership back in 1988. But, at the equivalent of £136,000, in regular terms it wasn’t very easy at all. The car’s mix of non-turbo simplicity and firm, sporty suspension made it a hit with buyers and today a good car is sought after by enthusiasts.

This very low mileage car has been well kept by its handful of keepers such that it wears its 36 years extremely lightly. There are few signs of age across the smart red paintwork and the dove grey leather is in similarly good shape.

This car is one of the later Eights that gained electrically powered leather seats and other luxury accessories. Despite its popularity, just 1,732 were built and this one is surely amongst the best preserved of the few remaining examples.
