The Appeal
For a car that began as ‘budget’ Porsche, by 1990 the 924 had evolved into a car whose performance was snapping at the heels of the 911.
The driving experience was quite different, of course: more predictable but equally engaging. With 205bhp on tap these later cars could despatch 60mph from standing in 6secs. Only a few years earlier, that had been the preserve of the 930 Turbo.
Enthusiasts are returning to these later cars, particularly S2s like this car, for all those reasons. These are practical, quick and entertaining cars with all the reliability hallmarks of classic Porsches.
This S2 is a good opportunity to make that discovery. It is a smart and very usable car in an appealing colour combination. There have been just four registered keepers from new and it arrives with us in solid and presentable condition. In fact, ready to enjoy.
