The Appeal
It took Ford a little while to respond to the threat from Audi, BMW and others, but when it did, the result was inspired. The final version of the Cossie-tuned Sierra was both a luxury four-door express and a potent 201bhp road rocket. There was nothing else quite like it on the road.
Here is one of the last built. It is finished in attractive Nouveau Red burgundy metallic and pleasingly factory standard. It is in very good condition due to a recent full bare metal restoration and respray that also included an engine rebuild by a Ford Lotus mechanic.
The car has only recently been put back on the road and has covered few miles since all that work. As such, it is a great opportunity for the enthusiast.
