The Appeal
This is not just any Bentley Arnage, it’s the ‘T’ model tuned for performance. Bentley’s engineers managed to squeeze a little more power from the tried and tested 6.75-litre V8 engine, which had been providing sterling service in both Bentleys and Rolls-Royces for some time.

The interior of a Bentley is always a pleasant place to spend time. And this Arnage is no exception, with its quilted cream leatherwork covering the seats and doors and highly polished burr walnut veneer. This is a car designed with the express intention of conveying its occupants in the utmost luxury.
The dashboard is well appointed with analogue gauges, so the discerning driver can keep an eye on the state of their machine. The steering wheel features cruise control buttons, which along with the four speed automatic transmission makes this an excellent choice for a grand continental tour.
The leather seats are generally in excellent condition, with only the driver’s seat showing slight signs of use, which just goes to show that this is a luxury vehicle with a focus on the driving experience.

A fetching shade of ‘Moroccan Blue’ was specified by the first owner of this Bentley, and the paintwork remains in excellent condition. The vendor states that the paint is unmarked and we think that the deep lustre of the paintwork adds to the imposing stance of this Arnage.
Underneath, the seller states that the condition of the car is also excellent, with no welding having been carried out and without corrosion to speak of. The wheels are in very good condition and there is still good tread to the tyres.
In all, this is a car you wouldn’t hesitate to make an entrance with.

The beating heart of this Bentley is its 6.75-litre V8 engine, a tried and tested unit which still packs a healthy punch, kicking out 1,000 Nm of torque and around 500 horsepower.
The engine bay is tastefully adorned with a plaque stating its credentials as a ‘6.75 Litre Twin Turbo’ as well as a separate plate bearing the signature of the technician who signed off the unit in the factory.
Reassuringly, the vendor informs us that there are no issues with the engine or other mechanical components, with no leaks or smoke to be reported.
The shove from the twin turbocharged V8 is described by the vendor as simply ‘mind blowing’, with a contrasting understated exhaust note.
