With its Ferrari-derived powerplant, handsome Italian styling and distinctive charisma, the Quattroporte was intended to take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with a distinctive high-octane bark. It was a more muscular eye for luxury - and quite a result it was, too.
