The Attractions
The G 55 AMG is the most exclusive and coveted of the luxury off-roaders, combining the legendary robustness of the G-Class with the performance guaranteed by the AMG brand. This 2005 example stands out for its 5.5-litre supercharged V8 engine, capable of delivering an impressive 507 hp, considerably more power than the 354 hp offered by the aspirated version.
Before being re-imported to Europe, this G 55 AMG spent much of its life in Japan and benefited from the excellent road conditions in the Land of the Rising Sun, where salt is notoriously not used on the roads. This helped to preserve the condition of the bodywork, which looks very good indeed. This G-Class is also enhanced by a complete Brabus styling kit and 22-inch black wheels, giving it an even more unique and imposing appearance.
