In October 2023 last year this car was at a well known Porsche specialist for its major service. All work had been completed and the car was ready for collection by the owner. An electric Porsche Taycan was in the workshop on charge and ignited which caught the building on fire. A number of cars were quickly driven out of the building as soon as the fire started. This car was one of the cars driven out and sustained no damage other than a few small marks on the soft top on the R/H side where small pieces of hot debris in the smoke floated down. These marks can be seen in the pictures and are very superficial and do not affect the integrity or waterproofing of the soft top and may or may not clean off. Please be assured that zero body/paint or mechanical damage to the car occurred. As more of a diplomatic customer care decision the cars were paid out on despite no damage and this resulted in the cars being Cat N recorded. Please do not be deterred by the Cat N record as the car has not had any damage whatsoever and is in beautiful condition throughout.'
