The Appeal
Maserati’s Granturismo represented a serious assault on the rarified world of hand-built grand tourers. Sharing common parts with contemporary Ferraris but finished with the sort of sculptural style and attention to detail for which Maserati is famous, it is arguably one of the modern era’s greatest GTs.
This 2013 car is the S model with the larger 450bhp 4.7L V8 jointly developed and built by Ferrari. It is finished in understated grey metallic with a matching leather and Alcantara interior. It features an array of interior and exterior carbon features that help the specification stand out. Both are in very good condition thanks to the car’s low mileage of 54,000 miles.
The vendor acquired the car in 2022 and has continued to service it in the manner of the previous handful of keepers. It has only every been maintained by main dealers or well-regarded specialists. The most recent service was in March 2025, less than 3,000 miles ago. Other notable work includes new brake discs and pads in 2023. The car was undersealed at the same time. When the vendor acquired the car he had it fully detailed and the paintwork received a ceramic coat. He tells us that the ceramic coating was recently refreshed and that the car received detailing every two months. We are told that the current MOT runs to April 2027.
The vendor says:
“This car has been maintained to a very high standard, driven sparingly, and upgraded tastefully. A superb example of the GranTurismo S with the looks, sound, and presence these cars are famous for.”
