The VW T2 is one of the most recognisable vehicles in the automotive world. It has become a symbol of the free spirit and enables countless passionate individuals to realise their dream of travelling the world.

 This particular van, a T2C produced in Brazil in 2013, was originally sold in the UK and has been fully equipped in the style of a Danbury Rio motorhome. With enough sleeping accommodation for a family of four, it's certainly an ideal vehicle for summer trips across Europe. 

What's more, with its modern water-cooled Total Flexfuel (E85) or unleaded petrol engine, it looks set to cover a lot of miles.  For the moment, it has very few miles on the clock - 17,500 km to be exact - and is in almost pristine condition. Still registered as a British model, it currently lives in France. 

Fully built in the style of a Danbury Rio or Diamond VW Camper, this T2C is exquisite inside. Blue leather is present throughout the front of the cabin in the form of seat upholstery and beautiful diamond stitching on the door cards. These elements blend perfectly with the white paintwork and headlining. In the rear, this motorhome can accommodate a total of three adults or a family of four - two children and two adults. In fact, the rear seats fold down to form a double bed, while the retractable roof opens to reveal another large sleeping compartment.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a Waeco fridge and freezer, stainless steel sink, plenty of storage and a folding table. An outdoor shower means this motorhome is truly habitable and the whole unit is powered by a 110-240V battery with a circuit board. This generates plenty of power for the LED lighting, water pump, countless electrical sockets and ceiling fans.

The whole thing looks to be in fantastic condition with very few visible scratches and everything from the parking camera and sensors to the heaters and electric cooling works as it should. It's fitted with a brand new Pioneer AVH-A210BT head unit, which will work wonderfully with the Blaupunkt speakers already in place.

After the interior fit-out, this 2013 VW T2C allows you to lounge outside. A sunshade deploys from the pop-top roof and covers the area around a small removable table that attaches to the side of the van. Perfect for sunny evenings, it will make for great holiday memories. What's more, the motorhome is far from anonymous thanks to its adorable two-tone green and white paintwork. The paintwork and bodywork are in excellent condition. 

What's more, the many badges and chrome elements on the exterior look as good as new. The chrome wheel trims follow this trend. They are fitted with a set of Goodyear Cargo tyres, which the owner says are in mint condition. The underside of the car is very clean with only minimal signs of surface corrosion. It's clear from the underside that this Kombi has seen little use in its 10 years on the road. In fact, the odometer confirms this theory by showing only 17500 km, a figure confirmed by the owner. 

This 2013 VW Kombi is ready to run on Super Ethanol as well as standard unleaded petrol. In fact, the 1.4-litre in-line four-cylinder placed under the floor at the rear is a Total Flex capable of producing 80 bhp. Unlike most VW engines found in T2 vans, this is a water-cooled engine, which is perfect for increased reliability. This small engine is linked to a brand new exhaust system, as can be seen in the photos below.

In fact, the line appears to be in very good condition, as is the engine compartment. Electronically, this car is certainly very simple. In fact, it even has a modest four-speed manual gearbox. It does, however, have an on-board computer and immobiliser.

A fully equipped VW T2C Kombi, this motorhome is presented in the style of a Danbury Rio. With very low mileage, it's in fantastic condition inside and out. What's more, as one of the last VW T2 models ever produced, it is a rare model in Europe, particularly in France.
