The Appeal
In our opinion, almost no one builds luxurious, powerful grand tourers quite as well as Bentley. The modern day example of this – the Continental GT – is a perfect example of how to create an opulent and elegant machine that is also capable of frightening a supercar.
This handsome and very well specified example is presented in a desirable colour scheme, with below average mileage and a good history of servicing and maintenance. As such, if you’re in the market for a muscular, suave and lavish grand tourer, this really should be considered.

The Interior
- Black and beige leather upholstery with contrast stitching all appears to be in very good condition, with just a few marks to the door cards
- The seats have been reconditioned and retrimmed in their original diamond quilted pattern, including the embroidered ‘Flying B’ logos, and are in very good condition with minimal evidence of wear
- Heated and electrically operated front massage seats, with three-memory function
- Individual rear seats show little evidence of use or wear
- Smart black carpets and matched floor mats run through the cabin and are in very good order
- The light headlining presents very well, looking to be secure and undamaged
- Dark Burr Walnut veneer is lavished across the dashboard and transmission tunnel, front and rear, and shows in excellent overall condition
- Electric windows and door mirrors with power fold function

- The vendor tells us that everything works just as it should, with no faults to report
- The commodious boot is in fine order, with no staining to the carpet we could see, and a spacesaver spare present and correct
The Exterior
- Finished in shimmering Moonbeam Silver Metallic (LG9R), which presents in fine condition, with just a small number of minor chips and blemishes
- All of the bodywork looks to be in very good condition, with no corrosion or damage apparent
- The external badging and trim all appears to be present and correct, with the polished mesh grilles having a lovely, deep lustre
- The car cuts a dash on its original seven-spoke, 20-inch split-rim alloy wheels, which are very well maintained and show no evidence of kerb damage or lacquer peel that we could identify
- Matched set of Nankang tyres, with very good tread depth
- Electrically operated rear spoiler works just as it should
- Underneath, the vehicle looks to be nice and straight, with no notable corrosion or damage to report
The Mechanics
- Six-litre twin-turbo W12, offering a mighty 550hp
- Exceptionally smooth six-speed automatic transmission
- All-wheel drive system
- Adaptable air suspension
- Under the bonnet, the engine bay appears to be free from damage, although some components wear a coating of surface corrosion
- The last recorded service was in September 2021 at 67,621 miles (less than 500 miles ago)
- We’re assured by the vendor that the car drives superbly well, and they report no mechanical issues whatsoever
Summary
Not much comes close to the charismatic burble of Bentley’s big twin-turbo W12. And when you consider the low mileage, fine history and excellent specification of this example, we think it has much to recommend it.
